St Mary’s Newsletter – April 2024

Dear all,

First of all a huge thank you to Fr. Ben and all the altar team for conducting all the extra services during Lent and Easter Week. Although I did not attend all of them, those I did helped me to focus on the true meaning of this period in the church’s year.

This week is National Autistic Week and one of our very long term members of St Mary’s- Lesley Barnes, is undertaking a walk for them. Please support her. Lesley has a sponsor form and will be happy to receive your donations.

Our hard-working Fundraising Team are pleased to announce that another of Maz’s Quiz afternoons is coming up on Sunday 28th April in the Hall at 2.30pm for 3pm. If anyone has not been before, these quizzes, as well as testing your general knowledge, provide a thoroughly fun afternoon and include sandwiches, tea/coffee and cakes. Entrance £8.00. If you wish to come please sign the list in church.

Looking forward to seeing you at the Race Night this Saturday.

Very short letter this month!

Diana
